Sizing
For comfort and safety, it is important to get the proper size. The curve/seam
of the sling should sit on or just above the hip bone. Generally , Z'fina slings
fit slightly larger than conventional slings. A good rule of thumb is to go down
a size from what is normally worn in a fitted t-shirt.
If the sling is too
small, it will dig into baby's legs and is difficult to get him/her in and out.
If the sling is too big, it feels as if baby is going to fall out.
To get the proper fit,
use a soft measuring tape to get the measurement from the middle of the shoulder
diagonally to the opposite hip bone in inches. Use the chart below to find the correct
size:

How to put on your baby
sling:
1. Fold the sling in half length-wise, creating a pocket.
2. With the pocket facing up, put your baby sling on like a sash by slipping your
head and one
arm through the opening. Rest the sling on your opposite shoulder
with the seam/curve just
above the hipbone.
3. Ensure your sling is flat across your back and shoulder for proper weight
distribution and
maximum comfort.
4. Your baby is ideally worn inside the pocket at the seam/curve near your
center of gravity.
Baby Sling Positions:
Cradle position is ideal for newborns and babies up to 6 months. this
position is great for sleeping and nursing babies.
Hug-hold position
is great for infants who like to be more upright, but still have the comfort of
being comforted and cuddled.
I can see the world
position is wonderful for babies with growing curiosities.
Hip-baby position
is the most popular position , allowing you hands-free movement.
Piggy-back position
gives you maximum hands-free movement while your child is safely tucked behind
you.
